This week’s lecture is about meme and how they actual mean (not like what people think). The term, ‘meme’ was first introduced by Richard Dawkins in 1976, who described the term as something ‘which is ascribed to an idea, behaviour or style that spreads from person to person within a culture’
After watching the lecture, it changed my understanding that meme is only for fun and it has to be funny to attract people. However, the concept of ‘meme warfare’ defined as ‘using memes as individual weapons of information warfare’ sassy or reflect on the daily life through examples, media and words.
